"DUST & GLORY 2024": On the roads of the Eroica in Moto!
It come back the usual and unmissable appointment into the heart of Tuscany with all lovers of dirty roads, riding an offroad bike, maxi, simple-cylinder, vintage or recent. (event open however to all types of motorbikes).
The Chianti Land, lived between asphalt roads and dirty roads, can give unique emotions, all to be experienced!
*** all activities are based in Gaiole in Chianti ***
Friday 17th May:
PRE-event: for those passing by the area of Castelfiorentino, from 3pm to 6pm, chance to visit that sanctuary of passion for vintage enduro which is the shop-museum of the “Peruzzi Brothers”, without false modesty the point of reference throughout the world for the restoration of G/S; speaking of having a certain history, these days the business celebrates its first 100 years …
from 3.00pm to 8.30pm: reception and registration of participants;
from 8.30pm: convivial dinner with Tuscan cuisine tasting menu*;
APPETIZER: red and black crostini, salami, ham and finocchiona
FIRST COURSES: bean puree with toasted bread, penne ragù
SECOND COURSES: wild boar in unmid with a side dish of sautéed turnips
DESSERT: tart and Vinsanto
after 8.30 pm the reception will continue until 12.00 pm, compatibly with logistical needs.
Saturday 18th May:
from 08.00 to 10.00: meeting in the Gaiole square, and departure of the pilots, one every 20 seconds;
from 4.00pm to 8.00pm: arrival in Gaiole, signing of the "Eroica In Moto Hall of Fame" and collection of the participation prize
from 8.30pm: dinner together with a tasting menu* of Tuscan cuisine, the menu will be available soon.
Sunday 19th May:
We are working on a very beautiful project with friends of the DGR (Distinguished Gentleman's Ride) between Florence and Siena. Tasty surprises coming soon! And then … See you at EROICA 2025!
***: the menus are fixed, those with particular dietary needs should let us know well in advance – we will try to satisfy them as far as possible.
THE ROUTE
The route is the "Eroica" © route , in its complete form, equal to 208 kilometers, the paved road half the other half white road; all roads of ordinary circulation, in which therefore all the rules of the Road Code.
All the way is perfectly tabulated, so you do not even need the map, other devices. Let the soul free to breathe the Tuscan air and atmosphere!
